Kunene Hunting Safaris

Kunene Hunting Safaris is a family owned outfit. Burger Oelofsen is the sole owner of Kunene Hunting Safaris.

Our base is situated in northern Namibia between Otjiwarongo and Kalkfeld, about 3 hours drive from the capital city Windhoek. From the farm we are 3 hours drive to Swakopmund on the skeleton coast, 2 hours from Etosha National Park and about 5 hours from the Caprivi. Hunting mainly takes place on our private 12500 acre farm and many private farms usually not more than about 45 minutes drive from base camp. We have not less than 250 000 acres of huntable land where we have hunting rights, which is mostly free range.

Burger grew up in Namibia and is a tenth generation African. Burger is an avid hunter, fisherman and farmer. Burger has been guiding guests since 2006, he prides himself in hunting top class trophies and knows how to make everlasting experiences for guests of all ages. Patricia, Burgers wife overseas the kitchen and accommodation and will prepare the most amazing dishes and with her helpers will ensure your rooms and laundry are clean.

Only the best fresh vegetables, fruit and local meat is used to prepare world class dishes. Game harvested on your hunt is mainly on the menu.
